The Future is here and and for, on average, only $99. A company called PLX devices has launched the Xwave, a brain interface device........ yes that's right, a brain interface device, that works on Apple's I Phone, I Pod Touch and I Pad.

"you’ll be able to control your own mind, as well as the world around it." Well, we'll see about that.....

The device looks like an over sized hands free kit, but considering what it is supposed to do, that's quite impressive really. It uses the same technology as doctors do to treat epilepsy and seizures, and works by reading the electrical signals firing around your brain, which are then transmitted through you skull to your forehead, where the XWave reads the signals. Perhaps one of the most interesting applications for this device is the XWave Tunes which allow's users to connect with each other through the music that stimulates their brains. All in all, this seems like an amazing contraption and the technology used will provide limitless possibilities in all fields of life.
